Welcome to Pi Tau!

The Pi Tau Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Martin was established on April 9, 2000. The chapter recognizes excellence in nursing scholarship and leadership and hosts Nurse Excellence Day, an annual event that includes a scholarship ceremony, Pi Tau induction, and evidence-based practice dissemination by Level 2 nursing students.

    1,247 donations were collected during Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society - Pi Tau Chapter's food drive. Let us repeat that: 1,247! We were able to donate to both the local Carl Perkins Center and WeCare Ministries thanks to the generosity of our future nurses.
    UTM nursing students embody caring, compassion, and professionalism - all of which were displayed by every single student that made this food drive a success. We're beyond proud of this significant contribution to help our community!
    We also would like to send a special thank you to the Pi Tau student members that helped sort, pack, and deliver: Hunter Henson, Madi Owen, Emily Bryan, & Jake Cecil.
